Drumstick or Moringa Soup
Ingredients:
- 3 Drumstick (peeled & chopped)
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 1 Tomato (chopped)
- 3 tbsp moong dal (washed)
- 1 inch Ginger (chopped)
- 4 Cloves of Garlic (chopped)
- Salt, turmeric
- 3 cups Water
Add all the above ingredients in the pressure cooker.
Take 1-2 whistles & wait for cool down.
Grind all the mixture and strain it.
Drumstick Soup Tadka
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Ghee or oil
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- Pinch of hing
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seed Powder
- 1/2 Black Pepper Powder
Recipe:
- In a pan, heat 1 tbsp ghee or oil on medium flame.
- Add 1 tsp cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Sprinkle a pinch of hing for enhanced flavor.
- Add 1/2 tsp cumin seed powder and 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, then sauté for a few seconds.
- Pour this flavorful tempering over the drumstick soup and enjoy!
- Garnishing the Drumstick Soup with coriander leaves and chilli flakes.
Note- if you are making for infants, you can skip Whole Spices, Black Pepper, Oregano & Chilli Flakes.
