Masterchef Kriti Dhiman is back with a viral recipe of the high protein Tikkis along with a delicious chipotle dip. This dish is not only easy to make, but also packed with nutrients, making it the right choice for a healthy lunch. It is filled with veggies and high protein, and the taste is absolutely fantastic. Additionally, it is a great option for kids' lunch boxes as well.

Ingredients for High Protein Tikkis:

  • 1.5 cups boiled black channa (black chickpeas)
  • 1/2 cup boiled sweet potato
  • 3/4 cup boiled beetroot
  • 1 tbsp ginger-green chilli paste
  • 1 tbsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp roasted jeera powder (cumin powder)
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp roasted besan (gram flour) for binding
  • 2-3 tbsp oil for cooking

Ingredients for High Protein Chipotle Dip:

  • 1 cup paneer (Indian cottage cheese)
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2-4 red chillies (soaked in hot water, adjust according to your spice preference)
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  • To cook tikkis, take the boiled black chickpeas, sweet potato and beetroot in a large bowl. Add ginger-green chilli paste, chaat masala, roasted jeera powder and salt. Mash everything well to make a smooth mixture. Add the roasted besan to tie it together. Shape the mixture into small tikkis and cook them in a pan with oil on both sides until golden and sharp.
  • While cooking tikkis, prepare the chipotle dip. Combine cheese, curd, red chili, garlic and salt together to mix and creamy.
  • When the tikkis are done, serve them hot with the chipotle dip. Garnish with coriander for a flavor kick. You have a healthy, high-protein, and tasty meal in only 15 minutes!

This recipe is not only quick, but is a great way to get a variety of veggies and proteins in your diet. Have fun with these delicious tikki-like snacks or complete meals!
