Recently, she shared the recipe for Mango Bhapa Doi, which looks exactly like cheesecake but is made without an oven with just 3 ingredients. It has such a soft and creamy consistency that melts in the mouth. This is not only delicious but nutritious as well because of its ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • Yoghurt 750 gms
  • ⁠Mango pulp 1 cup
  • Condensed milk 3/4 cup
  • Cardamom powder 1 tsp
  • Mango pieces (for garnishing) 1/2 cup
  • ⁠Dry fruits chopped (Almonds & pistachios) 2 tbsp each.

Recipe for Hung Curd:

  • To make the hung curd, first take a bowl, place a strainer over it.
  • Spread a velvety cotton cloth over the strainer.
  • Pour the curd on top of the cloth and fold the cloth and cover it with a heavy thing.
  • Keep it in the fridge for 4-5 hours.
  • Once done, your thick and creamy hung curd is ready.

How to Make Mango Bhapa Doi:

  • Start with grinding the fresh mangoes.
  • Add them to the curd along with condensed milk and cardamom powder in a mixing bowl. Now, mix it and make a smooth mixture.
  • Pour the mixture into a cake tin covered with greased silver paper. Cover with foil.
  • Steam the mixture in the idli container for 25 minutes.
  • Refrigerate the mango bhapa doi for at least 3 hours.
  • After chilling, take it out from the fridge and demould it.
  • Garnish with dry fruits.
  • Now, the delicious and creamy Mango Bhapa Doi is ready.
