1. How did you develop your passion for yoga, and what inspired you to become a certified yoga instructor?
During my chartered accountancy studies, I was suffering from severe cervical spondylitis, which made it difficult to study for long hours. I tried various treatments, including allopathy, acupressure, Physiotherapy, acupuncture, stretching, and homeopathy, but nothing provided lasting relief. I was reluctant to try yoga.
Desperate for a solution, I eventually decided to give yoga a chance. Initially, the classes I took didn't make a significant difference. However, everything changed when I read a book on Yoga. The book emphasized the unity of mind and body through yoga, which resonated deeply with me.
That same day, I decided to practice yoga on my own, guided by the principles I read about. I immersed myself in the practice, accompanied by chakra healing music. Remarkably, within a month, my cervical pain completely disappeared, and I even managed to perform a headstand—something I never thought possible given my neck pain.
This transformative experience ignited a passion for yoga within me. It was a miracle that healed my body and brought immense joy and peace to my life. Motivated by this profound change, I committed to deepening my practice and eventually became a certified yoga instructor. My journey from pain to healing through yoga continues to inspire my teaching and dedication to this incredible practice.
2. As a digital creator, how do you balance creating content for both YouTube and Instagram while maintaining your yoga practice?
This requires effective time management.
I maintain a detailed content calendar that outlines what I'm going to shoot. I dedicate specific days solely to filming videos or taking photos. This allows me to maximize productivity and ensure consistency across platforms.
Yoga is an integral part of my daily routine. I dedicate specific times each day to my practice. This not only helps in maintaining my physical and mental well-being but also fuels my creativity.
My yoga practice often serves as inspiration for my content. I incorporate my personal experiences and insights into my posts, making my content more authentic and relatable.
3. What are some of the biggest challenges you face as a digital creator in the wellness space, and how do you overcome them?
First is social media is saturated with an overwhelming amount of information, ranging from credible advice to misleading or incorrect claims. This can make it difficult to filter through and ensure that the content I share is accurate and valuable to my audience.
Second is Maintaining an active presence on my page requires consistent posting and engagement, which can sometimes feel overwhelming. Unlike others who might take social media breaks or "social fasting," I need to stay continuously engaged to support my community and grow my brand.
Third, In a space flooded with trends and varying opinions, maintaining authenticity can be challenging yet crucial for building trust with my audience.
4. How do you decide on the topics for your yoga and hair care videos, and what inspires your content creation process?
Deciding on topics for my yoga and hair care videos involves a blend of personal experience, audience engagement, and staying updated with trends.
My journey with yoga and natural hair care began with personal challenges and triumphs. These experiences serve as a rich source of content. I share what I've learned from my own practice and the methods that have been effective for me.
I actively engage with my audience through comments, messages, and polls. Their feedback and questions help me understand their needs and interests.
Reading books on yoga philosophy, attending workshops, and learning from other experts in the field also provide me with fresh ideas and perspectives.

6. In your opinion, why is yoga particularly important in today's fast-paced, stressful world?
Yoga is particularly important in today's fast-paced, stressful world for several reasons. Firstly, it significantly reduces stress and anxiety through mindfulness and deep breathing techniques. Secondly, it enhances physical health by improving flexibility, strength, and posture, which counteracts the effects of a sedentary lifestyle. Thirdly, yoga fosters mental clarity and focus, helping individuals manage distractions and maintain emotional balance. Lastly, yoga encourages a holistic approach to wellness, integrating mind, body, and spirit for overall well-being.
7. Can you share some personal experiences or success stories from your students that highlight the transformative power of yoga?
I'd love to share two personal success stories that highlight the transformative power of yoga. One of my first students was a woman who had been married for eight years and struggled to conceive, even after numerous medical treatments like IVF. After practicing yoga with me for two months, she successfully got pregnant. The gratitude and blessings from her family were incredibly rewarding. Another student from Karnataka, whom I coached online, suffered from cervical and sciatica issues. Remarkably, within one and a half months of personalized yoga sessions, he overcame both conditions. These experiences with my first two students profoundly motivated me, proving that yoga's benefits extend far beyond my own healing. With the right intention and technique, yoga can bring miraculous results to anyone.
Asanas and Yoga Tips
8. What are the top five asanas you recommend for beginners who are just starting their yoga journey?
I recommend starting with these five asanas for beginners: Mountain Pose (Tadasana) for grounding, Cat-Cow Pose for spinal flexibility, Child's Pose for relaxation, Downward Facing Dog for strength and flexibility, and Tree Pose for balance and focus. These poses build a strong foundation while promoting relaxation and flexibility in the body.
9. For digital creators who often experience stress and burnout, which asanas would you suggest to help keep stress at bay and maintain mental well-being?
In my experience as a digital creator, managing stress isn't just about specific yoga poses but maintaining mindfulness throughout the day and integrating yoga as a lifestyle. Whether I'm feeling stressed or not, dedicating 10 to 15 minutes daily to yoga helps me find balance. It's about incorporating mindfulness into every aspect of my life, which supports my well-being amidst the demands of social media and content creation. Yoga isn't just a practice; it's a way to stay grounded and focused, essential for navigating the digital world while maintaining mental clarity and creativity.
10. What is one health tip related to yoga or general wellness that everyone, regardless of age, should follow to keep themselves healthy?
One crucial health tip for everyone, regardless of age, is to remember that movement is medicine. In today's sedentary lifestyle, where many of us spend long hours sitting, it's essential to incorporate regular movement breaks. Setting reminders to stretch, walk, or simply stand up hourly can significantly improve overall health. Whether at work or at home, these small activities can prevent health issues associated with prolonged sitting and promote physical well-being. Movement not only energizes the body but also supports mental clarity and overall vitality, making it a cornerstone of a healthy lifestyle for people of all ages.
11. Can you share a simple daily yoga routine or practice that busy individuals can incorporate into their lives to stay fit and stress-free?
A quick daily routine for busy schedules includes 10 minutes of Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar) for full-body stretching and strengthening followed by 5 minutes of deep breathing (Pranayama), Finish with 5 minutes of seated meditation or relaxation poses like Child's Pose or Corpse Pose (Savasana) to unwind and destress. This balanced practice enhances fitness, mental clarity, and overall well-being effortlessly.
Hair Care and Wellness
12. Your content also focuses on hair care. How do you integrate hair care tips with your yoga practice for a holistic wellness approach?
Yoga promotes overall health, including circulation which benefits scalp health. Additionally, I incorporate calming poses like Child's Pose to reduce stress, which impacts hair health. Hydration and nutrition from a balanced diet also support hair vitality. Combining these practices ensures I care for both body and hair, creating a holistic approach to wellness in my content.
13. What are some easy-to-follow hair care routines that you recommend for maintaining healthy and luscious locks?
Alongside my yoga practice, I prioritize scalp health by daily dry massaging with fingertips to boost blood circulation. I incorporate natural hydrosols like curry leaves or rosemary to maintain freshness without weighing down my hair. To manage my long hair and prevent tangles and split ends, I apply serums regularly & I do thorough oil massage once a week. This hair care routine ensures my hair stays healthy and manageable, complementing the holistic wellness promoted by my yoga practice.
14. How has your yoga practice influenced your approach to overall wellness, including hair care and other self-care routines?
Yoga has profoundly shaped my approach to overall well-being, extending its influence beyond the mat to every aspect of my life. It fosters mindfulness and awareness, making me more conscious of my diet, sleep patterns, and posture. This heightened awareness extends to my hair care and self-care routines, where I prioritize practices that promote inner and outer cleanliness. Whether it's through mindful eating, proper breathing techniques, or maintaining hygiene, yoga encourages a holistic approach to self-care. It's about nurturing both physical and mental health, ensuring I care for myself in a balanced and mindful manner.

15. How do you engage with your audience and ensure that your content remains relevant and helpful for both beginners and seasoned yogis?
I incorporate a variety of topics and techniques in my content to cater to different levels of experience and interests. Additionally, I encourage interaction through Q&A feature in my stories and community polls to foster a supportive and interactive environment. By staying responsive and adaptable to my audience's evolving interests and challenges, I strive to create content that continues to resonate and provide value.
16. What feedback or questions from your audience have most influenced the direction of your content, and how do you incorporate their needs into your videos?
I prioritize listening to their needs and concerns through comments, messages, and polls. By actively incorporating audience feedback, I strive to create videos that genuinely resonate and provide practical value to both beginners and seasoned practitioners. For instance, I get a lot of questions about my hair, so I try to share my own routine with my audiences occasionally.
Future Goals and Aspirations
17. What are your future goals as a yoga instructor and digital creator, and what new content or projects can your followers look forward to?
My future goals as a yoga instructor and digital creator involve deepening my connection with my predominantly female audience. I aim to offer more specialized content focusing on women's health, including yoga practices tailored for hormonal balance, infertility, hair care, lifestyle changes, stress relief, and empowerment. Additionally, I plan to launch workshops and recorded courses which are affordable and that delve into mindfulness practices and self-care routines specific to women's needs.
18. How do you envision the future of digital wellness content, and what role do you hope to play in shaping that future?
I see the future of digital wellness content evolving towards greater inclusivity and accessibility, catering to diverse needs and lifestyles. As a yoga instructor and digital creator, I aspire to contribute by creating content that promotes holistic well-being, mindfulness, and self-care. My goal is to offer practical, evidence-based guidance that empowers individuals to integrate wellness practices into their daily lives. Through innovative formats like interactive workshops, personalized coaching, and community engagement, I aim to inspire positive transformations and foster a supportive online community dedicated to holistic health and happiness.
