In winter, we need heat; hence, we take hot water, soups, and herbal teas. But in summer, we need to switch to cooling foods and drinks to keep the body balanced.
What You Should Give Up This Summer
Most people keep taking cinnamon-turmeric tea, hot soups, and strong herbs even during summer. That is wrong. What you were taking in winter can heat your body in summer. If you were taking hot soups during winter, now is the time to change to cooling beverages like sattu water. If you were taking immunity boosters with ginger and cinnamon, change to cooling beverages like Ash Gourd Juice (Safed Petha Juice).

In summer, your body requires light and watery foods. Include the following:
