Are you also worried about getting pimples, acne, or other reactions after eating mangoes in the summer season? Dr. Dimple Jangda, an Ayurveda Health Coach, shares three ways to consume mangoes this season without getting pimples, acne, rashes, or even ulcers in your mouth.
1) Pre-Soak the Mangoes: Dr. Jangda recommends pre-soaking this golden fruit for at least 2 to 4 hours before consuming them. This step helps remove the heat from the fruit and makes it ready for consumption.
2) Try a Mango and Coconut Milk Smoothie Bowl: If you love smoothies, here is a delicious option for you. You can also make a smoothie bowl with mango and coconut milk. Coconut milk is also known for its cooling quality. In nature, it's technically a fruit milk, so it combines well with the mango and doesn't give any kind of reaction.
3) Pair Mangoes with Almonds and Walnuts: If you're prediabetic and worried about a glucose spike? Don't worry, Dr. Jangda suggests pairing mangoes with almonds and walnuts, which are dried fruits. This combination helps prevent a glucose spike, making it a suitable choice for those who are prediabetic. If you're prediabetic, make sure to eat this nutritious snack two hours after breakfast to avoid a glucose spike.
By following these insightful tips from Dr. Dimple Jangda, you can eat your mangoes without worrying about skin issues or glucose spikes. So, enjoy the mango season with joy while prioritizing your health and well-being.
Note: Mango is not a dessert. Don't eat it after lunch or dinner. This pushes the undigested food into the small and large intestines, causing indigestion.
