In her recent informative reel, Dr Dimple Janngdaa, an Ayurveda & Gut Health Coach, shares valuable insights on the best ways to eat fruits based on different body types and health conditions.
Warm Stewed Fruits:
Dr Dimple recommends starting the day with a bowl of warm stewed fruits for individuals prone to constipation, dry skin, rough hair, or low appetite. The stewed mixture comprises fruits like apples, peaches, pears, water, berries, cherries, strawberries, and a dash of cinnamon, cloves, and black peppercorns.
Avoid Citric Fruits:
She advises individuals with tendencies towards acidity, burning sensations, or skin disorders like eczema, rosacea, or urticaria to steer clear of citric fruits such as lemons, oranges, tangerines, sour mangoes, and sour grapes. By eliminating these citric fruits from their diet, they can effectively manage acidity-related symptoms and improve skin conditions.
Timing Matters:
Dr Dimple recommends consuming fruits approximately two hours after having a warm breakfast or lunch for those prone to cold, cough, sinus, or throat infections. This practice helps to layer the stomach, preventing any cold and cough issues that may arise from consuming fruits on an empty stomach.
Pair Fruits with Nuts:
For diabetics or individuals experiencing rapid sugar spikes, Dr Dimple suggests consuming fruits with a bowl of nuts, such as almonds and walnuts. This combination aids in slowing down the sugar absorption process, promoting better blood sugar control, and reducing the impact of fruit sugars on blood glucose levels.
Dr Dimple's insightful tips emphasize the significance of understanding individual body needs and selecting the right approach to fruit consumption for optimal health and well-being.
