Parth Shah, aka Motabhai, is making waves in the content creation sector, focusing on topics such as business, startups, entrepreneurship, finance and economics. In an exclusive conversation with WHOSTHAT360, he spoke about being a finance influencer, the latest trends, and the impact of social media on the future of business.
What inspired you to become a business and finance influencer, and what motivates you to continue sharing your knowledge and insights in this field?
When I decided to upload content on social media regularly, I just scrolled through Instagram and YouTube. I noticed a lot of manipulation and fragmentation on the platform, leading youngsters astray with motivational messages, network marketing, forex trading, buy-now-pay-later loans, and other schemes. Through Motabhailikes, young people may gain valuable insight into how startups and micro businesses operate and how they generate money, as well as a good understanding of how personal finance works in an organic and stable manner. We just started with the purpose of providing answers for two questions: A) Kitna kama lete hoo? B) Kaise kama lete hoo?
How do you stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in business and finance, and what resources do you rely on for your research?
To have a clear perspective on current and quarterly trends, I read newspapers, consume a lot of virtual media, and network with startups, incubators, branding agencies, investment bankers, and merchant bankers. Our goal with our content is always to be one step ahead.
What are the most important skills for individuals to develop to manage their finances successfully?
Sincerity be damned, most people take a superficial approach to choosing the appropriate investment channels for their personal funds. Instead of investing their money in hasty and flimsy ideas, people should concentrate on comprehending the fundamental investments and future trends.
For instance, I would speak with investment bankers and merchant bankers instead of watching a few fragmented videos online to understand the stock market and investments. This would provide me with a more in-depth grasp of current investing trends.
How do you balance your investment strategies and personal financial goals with your business and finance influencer responsibilities?
I prefer to invest in primary businesses rather than secondary ones. I would also invest in automation and firms where fixed costs are controlled at or below 40%, and scalability is greater than 20%. YOY
What role do you see social media playing in the future of business and finance, and how do you think it will continue to evolve in the years to come?
I see a lot of wise videos as well as fragmentation when finances are involved.
As far as business is concerned, a content creator can build an entire value-driven ecosystem by focusing on creating a community-driven platform.
