Exclusive: Aashi Adani Opens Up About Her Paris Fashion Week Debut

A Gen-Z digital content creator, Aashi Adani started out at the age of 17 when she started her fashion blog. A known name in the fashion circuit today, Aashi recently experienced her first Paris Fashion Week and shared her experience with WhosThat360.

Your first Fashion Week experience must have been a whirlwind! Was there a particular moment when you felt nervous? Or maybe a behind-the-scenes glimpse that made you say 'Wow, this is happening!'?

When I saw the Eiffel Tower for the first time after landing, it was a major 'pinch me' moment for me. During the shows, I felt quite confident about what I was doing, thanks to all the preparations my team and I had done back at home to ensure that I was fully ready for any glitches. I couldn't stop smiling throughout the performance because of how excited I was to be there!

Did anything about this trip change the way you think about fashion shows? What surprised you the most about the experience?

I was surprised by the layout and flow of events during the fashion show. It's very different from what we have back home. This trip made me realize the kind of impact these fashion shows have on people. They inspire individuals to incorporate pieces from these grand outfits into their everyday looks.

What was the most memorable part of your trip to Fashion Week? 

All the shows have been fabulous and each one was unique, but if I had to choose one memorable moment, it would be when I walked into the first show. It was refreshing to see the audience express themselves through fashion.

Besides amazing outfits and memories, what's one thing you're bringing back – a new skill, a fresh perspective, a trend you can't wait to try?

I think time management is a skill that has really come in handy while trying to juggle getting ready, creating content, and attending shows - all in a foreign land was no joke.
