What is the best time for Shraadh on Sarva Pitru Amavasya?

Amavasya tithi starts at 9:33 PM on Oct 1, 2024, and will remain until 12:18 AM on Oct 3, 2024. Since, the sunrise and the most of night are available on Oct 2, 2024, hence, Sarva Pitru Amavasya will be celebrated on Oct 2, 2024.

Furthermore, this year Solar Eclipse is also going to be present on Sarva Pitru Amavasya and that would end before sunrise on Oct 2, 2024, and is also not visible in India.

11:47 AM to 3:44 PM (Kutup, Rohina and Aparahna Muhurat)

What astrological remedies can be performed on Sarva Pitru Amavasya to overcome challenges?

Some of the simple, convenient, and effective remedies for Sarva Pitru Amavasya (In addition to Shraadh)

Donate food to animal shelters and gaushala equal to 1/10th the weight of every living member of the family

Light a ghee diya in the Southwest or South Direction of your home as well as at the main door in the evening  

Offer water, black sesame seed, milk, water, and flowers to peepal and Shami tree in the morning (before noon) and light diya in the evening

One can also do 108 Parikarma of Peepal Tree in a clockwise direction  while chanting Pitru Mantra or Vishnu Gayatri Mantra

Offer Black sesame seed Ladoo in any temple of Lord Vishnu

Light a diya with four wicks in North East Direction of the house in the evening

Listen or Read Garuda Puran or Bhagvad Gita

Offer cooked food to brahmins as well as to needy people (try to do at least 21 people, more is the better)
