The end of the year is often seen as an opportunity for a reflection on the past and a hopeful outlook for the future, with many creators and influencers taking to social media to share their experiences. Among those who stood out for their vulnerability was Fashion Influencer Siddharth Batra.
Siddharth Batra is a creator who has successfully challenged gender norms and shattered stereotypes. In a recent post, Siddharth candidly discussed the bittersweet 2023. He opened up about struggling with anxiety, experiencing panic attacks, and fighting a silent internal battle.
Siddharth Batra Reflects on the Challenges of 2023:
Reflecting on the challenges of 2023, Siddharth shared, "It was a year of grappling with possibly the most critically acclaimed destroyer of one's being: anxiety. A silent, internal battle I fought all year, with me, myself, and I." He also opened up about panic attacks and taking therapy in his post.
Despite the challenges, Siddharth found pride in consistently showing up for himself. Refusing to let emotions take control, he used 2023 as an opportunity to reevaluate, rethink, and set priorities. He wrote, "I questioned every aspect of myself. Confidence alone wasn't enough. I was in a battle, leading to a break from my usual posts."
Admitting that he hardly recognized himself anymore, Siddharth accepted change, feelings, and a different vibe. He acknowledged the unfamiliarity but reassured that it was okay, and time would make it all settle. "2023 changed me. I look, feel, and vibe differently now. Proud that I faced every emotion head-on. It's a journey, and I'm still adjusting to the new me."
Ready for 2024:
Looking forward, Siddharth expressed readiness for a powerful 2024, taking it as an opportunity for personal growth and strength.
Internet Lauds Siddharth's Vulnerability:
Many Internet users lauded Siddharth for acknowledging the struggle and finding strength in his openness about his ongoing journey.
A comment read, "All the people out there are posting about their achievements in terms of mental well-being made me kind of feel left out because I just know there are some issues with me, I am not even what those issues are, let alone working on those issues. But you are putting yourself out there even when you have not completely healed when you are still on that journey, makes me want to not go very hard on myself for not achieving something significant in terms of mental well-being."
More power to you, Siddharth!
